
Ismailia Governor Yassin Taher, North Sinai Governor Abdel Fattah Harhour and Suez Canal Authority Chairman Mohab Mamish witnessed Monday the inaugural ceremony of a new branch for Sinai University in El Qantara Sharq, Ismailia.
The new branch includes the faculties of dentistry, Pharmacy and drug manufacturing.
During the ceremony, also attended by a large number of senior officials and former a documentary was shown on Sinai University, its contribution to the development of Sinai and the role played by the university it in the development of Sinai in general and its plans for Suez Canal development projects.
In a keynote speech, Taher said that all state apparatuses, led by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, paid great attention to develop education and upgrade the educational system in the country.
The time is ripe for achieving comprehensive development in Sinai, he said.
