
Northwestern University in Qatar (NU-Q) Thursday announced its fall semester Dean's List that recognizes students excelling in academic studies.
The Dean's List comprises 59 students who earned academic distinction in the most recently completed semester.
Communication majors must have achieved at least a 3.75 grade point average (GPA) out of 4.0 on three graded courses, and journalism majors must have achieved a 3.7 GPA on three graded courses or, if on residency, two graded courses in addition to their residency.
NU-Q Dean and CEO Everette E Dennis said, "This group of students exemplifies the NU-Q philosophy of learning through doing. These students are not only making an impact inside the classroom, they are reaching beyond what is expected."
