ADNOC Distribution celebrates opening of a new service station in Al Ain
Abu Dhabi - WAM

ADNOC Distribution has celebrated the opening of a new service station in Al Ain city, bringing the total number of stations to 362 in the UAE.

The new 24-hour Umm Ghafa service station, which is the 44th service station in Al Ain city, can serve 12 vehicles simultaneously and includes an Oasis convenience store, a fast food restaurant and facilities for oil change, automatic car wash, an LPG cylinder depot and a tyre centre.

Saeed Mubarak Al Rashdi, Acting Chief Executive Officer of ADNOC Distribution, commented, "We are delighted to offer our customers in Al Ain greater service, choice and convenience with the opening of the Umm Ghafa service station, our 28th new station in 2017. ADNOC Distribution’s retail fuel business in the UAE is performing exceptionally well, with strong sales growth and stable, regulated margins."

Al Rashdi continued, "The Umm Ghafa opening is another milestone in ADNOC Distribution’s broader drive to increase sales growth and optimise performance. In keeping with the ADNOC Group’s 2030 growth strategy, we have ambitious expansion plans for the future and are actively looking for opportunities to boost sales across all of our business units. I look forward to making more growth announcements in the weeks and months ahead."
