
Qatar's Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Attiyah met here today with Yuri Fedotov, Executive Director of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime(UNODC).
HE Al-Attiyah affirmed Qatar's keenness to promote joint action to combat drugs and organized crime and strengthen criminal justice systems as part of the preparations for 13th UN Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice which will be held in Doha, Qatar, next April 2015 His Excellency also stressed that the goal of the conference lies in the importance of building stable societies based on the rule of law and human rights.
Qatar's Foreign Minister also asserted the country's commitment to working closely with Member States to make the Doha Declaration a starting point towards achieving justice for all.
