
The first Egyptian-Tanzanian forum will kick off Tuesday in Tanzania's capital, Dar es Salaam, with the participation of the Tanzanian trade minister and more than 150 businessmen from the two countries.
In a statement Monday, Chairman of the Chemical and Fertilizers Export Council, Khaled Abul Makarem said that the council is organizing the biggest promotional mission for the Egyptian products to take part in Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair, which will kick off on May 25 and run until May 29.
The products are from more than 51 Egyptian companies, representing sectors of chemicals, fertilizers and construction materials, he added.
The aims of Egypt's participation in the fair is to continue opening African markets before the Egyptian products, he added.
The Egyptian-Tanzanian forum includes a host of businessmen from the two counties to discuss the possibility of carrying out joint projects that serve trade exchange and economic cooperation between the two countries, he dded.
