GCC workshop on human rights starts in Riyadh
3-day workshop titled 'International Law of Human Rights'

A three-day workshop titled 'International Law of Human Rights', organized by the GCC Human Rights Office, opened here Sunday at the GCC General Secretariat .
Participants will discuss concepts, origins of human rights, its development throughout history, explain the UN Human Rights non-contractual mechanisms and regional mechanisms in the Arab League as an example.
The workshop will also explore aspects of similarities and difference in the international law on human rights and the role of national institutions, NGOs regarding human rights and relevant issues.
