
Egyptian Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab conferred here on Tuesday with Chairman of the French Senate Committee for Foreign Affairs, Defense and Military Jean-Pierre Raffarin on bilateral relations, means of boosting joint cooperation at international fora as well as issues of common interest.
Mahlab briefed the French lawmaker on the latest developments in Egypt, efforts to combat terrorism, as well as plans of the Egyptian government to achieve economic development through the implementation of national mega projects.
The French lawmaker on his part asserted that his country was deeply interested in establishing partnership with Egypt and contributing to its development plans.
