
Legendary American singer-songwriter, Michael Bolton, will hold his first ever concert in Egypt on Friday at the Cairo International Fair Center.
The concert is organized by the Ministry of Tourism and the Tourism Promotion Authority as part of efforts to lure more tourists and promote the Egyptian tourist destinations.
Tourism Minister Yahya Rashed said that such events were very important as they promote for Egypt and attract different classes of tourists.
Bolton and his accompanied band will tour Cairo’s many significant cultural and historical sites such as the Great Pyramids of Giza.
Bolton, whose highly successful career spans more than 40 years, had been awarded two Grammys for Best Pop Male Vocal Performance, as well as six American Music Awards and over 24 BMI and ASCAP awards. — Bernama.
