Russian President Vladimir Putin met on Monday with his Palestinian counterpart Mahmoud Abbas in Moscow.
The meeting touched on the situation in the Middle East, particularly the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
Abbas hailed cooperation with Russia and its efforts to solve the Palestinian issue.
Putin for his part stated that relations between Palestine and Russia were developing and strengthening constantly.
The two leaders also held talks over trade and economic cooperation between both countries.
