Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi will hold a closed meeting with the Ethiopian president and prime minister to discuss the Renaissance Dam issue, Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry said.
During a phone call with Al-Hayat TV channel, Shoukry said that the tripartite summit held today between Egypt, Sudan and Ethiopia had removed all doubts and fears and restored Egypt's distinguished status in Africa.
The document of the Declaration of Principles on the Ethiopian Renaissance Dam does not contradict with any agreements signed between Egypt, Sudan and Ethiopia, he said.
Shoukry said the solution to the Renaissance Dam crisis depends on moving at the political and economic tracks with Ethiopia.
The coming period will witness further cooperation with Ethiopia and African countries to restore Egypt's distinguished regional role, he said.
