
Slovenian Ambassador in Cairo Tania Miskova has hailed as important an upcoming visit by Borut Pahor, the Slovenian President, to Egypt.
Pahor, who will arrive here Monday, will hold talks with Egyptian Prime Minister Sherif Ismail and Speaker of the House of Representatives Aly Abdel Aal, Miskova told MENA Wednesday.
During his three-day visit, Pahor is also scheduled to attend a meeting of businessmen with representatives of 13 Slovenian companies taking part, the diplomat added.
Miskova believes the visit will help boost cooperation between Cairo and Ljubljana.
She said the volume of trade exchange between the two sides is on the rise and approaching pre-2011 levels.
