
Tourism Minister Yehia Rashed will leave for Italy Wednesday to attend the TTG Incontri trade show due to kick off in the city of Rimini on October 13-15.
During his stay, Rashed will hold talks with officials on the fringe of the event.
The government and private tourism sectors in Egypt are keen on participating in the show with the aim to promote travel to Egypt, Rashed said in statements Tuesday.
Their participation will also be a chance to get firsthand information about demands and proposals of travel organizers, the minister said.
Tourism cooperation with Italy is important and the show provides a good opportunity to promote travel to Egypt, he added.
Last year's show was a big success and was attended by 38,686 travel agents.
