Egypt trade minister to attend WTO next month
Trade and Industry Minister Tareq Qabil

Trade and Industry Minister Tareq Qabil has received an invitation from Swiss President Johann Schneider-Ammann to attend a ministerial meeting of the World Trade Organization next month.
The meeting will be held on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum on January 17-20.
Swiss Ambassador to Egypt Markus Leitner invited Qabil in a meeting earlier Wednesday.
The invitation reflects Egypt's position on the global economic map and is a sign of appreciation for its important role at the WTO, Qabil said.
