Kathie Lee Gifford has written an 18-minute musical that is scheduled to air on NBC later this year.
Gifford revealed the news about Today: The Musical on Friday while co-hosting alongside guest Regis Philbin. While the television host has yet to reveal any details from the musical, she did say it will feature all of the Today anchors and crew as well as Philbin.
Gifford is no stranger to musical theater. She has worked in several productions including Broadway's Scandalous and co-wrote Key Pin It Real, a junior high school musical in 2008.
It will reportedly be titled, Not Today and Tomorrow's Not Looking Good Either.
"It's going to be live and it's going to be so much fun," she said.
