Katie Holmes plays a sweet kindergarten teacher who leads a double life as a vigilante in the first trailer for the upcoming drama Miss Meadows.
The Karen Leigh Hopkins film debuted at the Tribeca Film Festival in April and finds the Dawson's Creek star in one of her darkest roles to date.
The film follows Holmes' character as she moves into a new neighborhood to serve as both a school teacher and a crime-fighting vigilante. Miss Meadows' life takes an unexpected turn when she starts dating the town's sheriff and he begins asking questions about her life.
James Badge Dale and Callan Mulvey co-star in the film, which is slated for a November release.
