Mitch Winehouse announced his second studio album Tuesday.
The record is called But Beautiful, and includes songs daughter Amy Winehouse helped pick out before her death in July 2011. The tracks did not make the cut for Mitch's first album, Rush of Love (2011).
"This is still the album that Amy helped me make," he shared in a statement. "There were so many more songs that we could have done and here they are."
Proceeds will benefit the Amy Winehouse Foundation, which Mitch established in August 2011. The organization seeks to support and empower young adults through music therapy and education, and prevent drug and alcohol abuse. Amy died of accidental alcohol poisoning at age 27.
"It's something I can do that connects with Amy's memory and raises money for what we believe in," Mitch said. "Even now it's very painful and emotional, but you just got to get on with it. If we don't, no one else will do what we do.
