
Morgan Freeman and Jimmy Fallon conducted their interview on helium Thursday on The Tonight Show.
The 77-year-old actor appeared on the program to discuss his hobby of beekeeping and his new movie, Lucy. The conversation took a "very undignified" turn when Fallon convinced the star to inhale helium from a balloon during the interview. Freeman had previously demonstrated the effect of helium on his educational show, Through the Wormhole with Morgan Freeman.
Freeman's resonant baritone is one of his signature characteristics as an actor. He has narrated several movies, including War of the Worlds and documentaries The Long Way Home and March of the Penguins. The star will appear alongside Scarlett Johansson in Lucy, out July 25, and is scheduled for The Last Knights, Life Itself and We The People later this year.
