Steve Carell performed "Sexual Healing" Wednesday on The Tonight Show.
The 52-year-old actor joined host Jimmy Fallon and his barbershop quartet, The Ragtime Gals, for a cover of the Marvin Gaye hit. The version featured plenty of harmonization, with Carell and Fallon as the lead vocalists.
Carell last appeared in Bennett Miller (Capote) film Foxcatcher. The movie stars Channing Tatum as real-life Olympic wrestler Mark Schultz, whose brother, Dave Schultz (Mark Ruffalo) was shot and killed by longtime sponsor and troubled millionaire John du Pont (Carell) in 1996.
Foxcatcher was a marked departure for Carell, who is known for comedic roles such as Michael Scott on NBC comedy The Office, and Brick Tamland in the Anchorman movies. The actor is scheduled to star with Julianne Moore and Ellen Page in Freeheld in 2015.
