The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies debuted a final trailer Thursday.
The preview sees Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman), Bard (Luke Evans) and Dwalin (Graham McTavish) confront a greedy Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage), and the Five Armies battle for control of the Lonely Mountain.
Ian McKellen appears as the wizard Gandalf, with Christopher Lee as Saruman, Orlando Bloom as Legolas, Lee Pace as Thranduil, Evangeline Lilly as Tauriel, Hugo Weaving as Elrond, and Aidan Turner as Kili. They all wage an epic battle against Sauron who sports an army of orcs and, among other beasts, huge bats bred for fighting.
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey premiered in 2012, and was followed by The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug in 2013. The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies will complete the movie trilogy, and opens in theaters December 17.
