Tourism ministry sponsors concert of Engelbert Humperdinck
Cairo - Arab Today
The Tourism Ministry and the Egyptian Tourism Promotion Authority will sponsor a concert by international singer Engelbert Humperdinck at one of Cairo's hotels.
This comes within the framework of the ministry's sponsorship of a number of artistic events to boost tourism in the country.
In a statement issued on Monday, the ministry underlined the importance of enriching the tourist agenda with some artistic and sport activities to cast light on the events in which singers and celebrities take part.
The international singer will give the concert on Sunday.
Meanwhile, the singer's visit to Egypt will start on Thursday where he will carry out a tourist tour of the Egyptian Museum and the Pyramids
