Harry Potter\'s Revenues Exceed Billions of Dollars

The last part of the Harry Potter sequel; Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows-Part 2, had generated revenues which exceeded a billion USD worldwide, hence trumping Transformer-Dark
of the Moon which showed in theaters 2 weeks prior to Harry Potter.
The film's screening had started in Egypt since 13th July while being distributed by the main distribution company in Egypt and the Arab world, United Motion Pictures, which is also the official and the sole agent for the American production companies 20th Century Fox and Warner Brothers.
Back to the box office, the film has broke the records by earning more than a billion USD in only 19 days of its screening which equates to Avatar's total revenue of 1.0008 billion USD. Giving Harry Potter the 8th place worldwide, exceeding The Dark Knight yet coming after The Lord of the Rings:The Return of the King which stands at 1.12 billion USD.
Dan Fellman, the President, Domestic Distribution, Warner Bros stated; "What's truly astounding is that these kinds of numbers are being achieved so early in the film's release. The movie's excellent reviews, outstanding word-of-mouth and repeat business will ensure that Harry Potter will be charming moviegoers for months to come."
However, by the end of the second week the revenues of the film have decreased by 47% to make 66.6 million USD in 59 countries which sums up its revenues outside of the US to be 690 million USD and making it 5th on top of the international box office outside of the US. It still remains the number 1 film with the highest income for the American production company Warner Brothers.
Which is what Veronika Kwan-Rubinek remarked, "To say that the global response to the film has been extraordinary would be an understatement. We are so proud that this last film in the series has not only reached such heights but has reached them in record time. It is now Warner Bros.' most successful release ever, and there is still plenty more to come."
The events of the final installment of the sequel, whose fans adored for a decade, tells the story of the search for the three Horcruxes stones that are missing which are used by Lord Voldemort to divide his soul, in order for no one to be able to defeat him unless the stones are all united. Harry, Ron and Hermione search for the stones to destroy it, when Harry and Ron are capable to destroy some, they break the secret of the dark Lord's immortality. Voldemort launches a vicious war on Hogwart's School and destroys everything; hence everyone's destiny becomes at the mercy of the outrageous struggle which arises between Harry and Voldemort.
