Often used in accents Red is an intense color. So usually it is balanced by a neutral like pure white. Red and white interiors are quite popular. Red is also often used in accents. Though often used in living rooms red color schemes can also be seen in bedrooms and kitchens. If bright red is too active a color it can be replaced with coral red, pinkish red, or other muted red hue.
