Al-Jazeera media network marks 15th anniversary of its launch

Aljazeera Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, and HH Sheikha Moza bint Nasser attended this evening the celebration marking the 15th Al-Jazeera Media network anniversary. The ceremony was also attended by HE Sheikh Hamad bin Thamer Al Thani, Al-Jazeera Board Chairman, and Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim Al Thani, Director General of Al-Jazeera Media network, in the presence of a number of guests and VIPs.
The ceremony honored some 400 employees working in various sectors of the Al-Jazeera network and its channels, who have completed 5 years in service where, with a special honor to those who lived through the start of Al-Jazeera Channel decade and a half ago.
