A relief convoy, sent by Egypt's Al Azhar, arrived in the Nigerian capital, Abuja, on Sunday, upon the directives of Al-Azhar Grand Imam Ahmed el Tayyeb after his recent visit to the west African country.
The convoy, consists of medical and food aid, aims to support refugees and people affected by terrorist acts in Nigeria.
It also gathers Azhar officials and specialized doctors who will be responsible for equipping clinics attached to refugee camps.
The convoy was welcomed by the Egyptian embassy in Nigeria.
