Dr. Saleh Al-Ujairi meets KUNA chief

Board Chairman and Director General of Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) Sheikh Mubarak Al-Duaij Al-Ibrahim Al-Sabah received, on Wednesday at his office, Kuwaiti astronomer Dr. Saleh Al-Ujairi. The meeting came after Al-Ujairi delivered a seminar on astronomy and its effect on society at Kuwait KUNA headquarters. The meeting discussed the role of media in supporting scientific research conducted by the Kuwaiti astronomer. Al-Ujairi expressed appreciation to efforts exerted by KUNA in serving society, providing credibility of information and facts and encouraging Kuwaiti researchers and scientists. Afterwards, Sheikh Mubarak Al-Duaij met with the newly-appointed Egypt\'s media office director in Kuwait Mohammad Fawzi Abdulkareem. They talked about further promoting ties in the media sector to spread Arab cultural and deepen Arab ties. Sheikh Mubarak Al-Duaij, during the encounter, focused on strengthening media ties to help in confronting foreign media campaigns that target the image of Arabs and Muslims. KUNA\'s chief called on solidarity and unification of visions and ideas to keep up with the more advanced international media outlets.
