Mean Girls star Lindsay Lohan has made no secret of her interest in the Muslim culture and it appears that interest just keeps getting stronger.
In recent days photographs have surfaced of the actress wearing a burkini instead of a bikini during a paddleboarding session in Thailand.
Lohan, who has been studying Islam and has set up a base in Dubai, is covered head to toe in the shots published by The Daily Mail.
Her head is covered and she has a long tunic on with black stirrup pants. The actress has been on holidays in Phuket for two weeks, according to her Instagram account.
The 30-year-old, who has had her fair share of troubles in the past, recently revealed she had found peace in the Islamic faith.
"I respect all religions ... it’s a beautiful religion and I am a very spiritual person ... it’s something I’ve been studying," she told the British newspaper back in February, adding she’d "found solace in it".
Earlier this month the star hinted that she was in the throes of releasing her own fashion line of headscarves when she posted an image of her with a headscarf on and the words: "New Fashion Line coming soon ...
As for whether the star will be converting any time soon, it seems anything is possible.
