Sheikh Al-Sanousi Affirms Presidency Support to Human Rights

Assistant of the President of the Republic, Sheikh Ibrahim Al-Sanousi, has affirmed keenness of the Presidency to support the Commission for Human Rights so as to play its role in enhancing the human rights.
This came when he received in his office at the Republican Palace Sunday the Deputy Chairman of the Commission for Human Rights, Hassib Hammad.
Sheikh Al-Sanousi has called for reactivating the human rights' mechanisms in the context of the principle of justice and equality.
In a press statement, Hammad said that the meeting has touched on the commission's plan for the coming period and implementation of the national dialogue recommendations regarding support to the human rights in Sudan.
