Egyptian actress Amina Khalil expressed her pleasure for participating in the new TV drama show “” scheduled to be presented during the coming Ramadan.
She said, in an interview with “Arabs Today”, that she is happy for participating in the dramatic work, as it is the second consecutive time for her to cooperate with Scenarist Tamer Habib. She added, “We cooperated last year during my participation in ‘Grand Hotel’ drama show”.
She expressed her optimism over the new work, clarifying that the same novel was presented before as a film, while the series will present a new dramatic treatment. She revealed that a number of superstars participate in the series, including Mervat Amin, Mohamed Mamdouh and Ahmed Malek.
The Egyptian actress refused to give any details over her role in the series, saying, “What I can say is that the new dramatic work discusses social issues related to aristocratic family that lost its breadwinner.” She added that she also participates in “Palace of Lovers” TV drama show with a number of superstars, including Hussein Fahmy, Mervat Amin, Farouk Al Feshawy, Ezzat Al Aalayli and Mohamed Mamdouh.
She refused to reveal the reasons behind her apology for not participating in the new TV series “God Knows that I Am Fasting” with the Egyptian superstar Mustafa Shabaan. The Egyptian actress was supposed to perform the role of Shabaan’s wife.
Regarding her participation in “Grand Hotel”, she said that it was one of the best works in which she participated since the beginning of her career. She added, “When I received the scenario, I accepted to participate in the series. She expressed her aspiration to present different roles and not to be limited in the roles of aristocratic girls. She stressed the need for diversifying her roles during the coming period.
She stressed her keenness to choose her roles carefully, saying that she is always keen to take the advice of her family, including her husband. She revealed that she decided to conduct a plastic surgery to reduce the nose upon advice from the directors, while when the doctors delayed the surgery, she decided not to do it
