Egyptian actress Merna Waleed revealed a number of her artistic and family secrets, expressing her appreciation to Egyptian superstar Soad Hosni with whom she participated in her first film "Shepherd and Women". She clarified that she learned a lot of lessons during her experience with the Egyptian actress who was keen to respect her fans during her career since its beginning.

She added, in an interview with "Arabs Today", that she is happy for participating the celebration to mark the memory of the late actress on the occasion of her birthday. She appreciated the Egyptian Ministry of Culture for marking the memory of high-profile artists who left positive effects on the lives of the people.

She added that she was lucky to participate with major superstars during her career since its beginning, saying that they performed a main role to create her artistic personality. She praised her participation in "Disco Disco" film in which she participated with Egyptian superstar Najla Fathy to discuss the repercussions of the absence of dialogue between the parents and their sons.

She stressed her keenness to choose her roles carefully saying that she has not received any suitable role in cinema during the recent period. She added that she turned to participate in drama due to the good scenarios she received. She expressed her pride of her participation in "Robabekia" before Egyptian superstar Fouad Al Mohandes.

She said that she was keen to find a strong role after her participation in "Mountains Foxes" and waited for a long time until she received an offer to participate in "Robabekia". She expressed her hope that the series will be presented in the channels during the coming period.

Regarding her singing experience, she said that she issued only one album, saying that she benefited from this experience in her career as actress. She stressed that she gained new friends from her singing experience, including singer Amal Maher.

She did not rule out the possibility of issuing new albums during the coming period, while she stressed her refusal to sing in parties. She added that she is not prepared for facing the fans during singing. She also praised her experience as a media host, saying that she presented a program to discuss the artistic issues.

She praised her life with her husband and children, saying that she exercises a numver of hobbies, including painting and skiing.She expressed her love to the Egyptian and Lebanese food.
