Sources in the Yemeni security forces have announced the death of a local Al-Qaeda leader in a shootout on Tuesday, during clashes with Yemeni troops in Bidaa, north of Sanaa. Clashes occurred after a suicide attack led to the death of three policemen and six others being injured. The sources confirmed that militant leader Nasser Al-Zafrany died in the clashes.
