
Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghaffar on Sunday received Inspector General of Police of the Ghana Police Service COP John Kudalor.
The Ghanaian security official is paying an official visit to Egypt, accompanied by senior police officials.
The meeting dealt with aspects of cooperation between the Egyptian Ministry of Interior and the police of Ghana and ways of strengthening them in various security areas.
Kudalor appreciated the Egyptian police's prominent role, especially in the counter-terrorism and criminal cases fields.
He also expressed desire to make more benefit from the Egyptian Interior Ministry's training experience in various fields.
For his part, Abdel Ghaffar affirmed the ministry's full readiness to promote security cooperation between the two sides, especially in training Ghanaian cadres in all security areas.
The two countries signed a Memorandum of Understanding in the field of security cooperation.
