An 18-year-old man from Birmingham was arrested at Manchester airport on Saturday for "Syria-related terrorism offences," Britain's West Midlands Police said.
The man was detained after arriving in Britain on Saturday morning, police confirmed.
Saturday's arrest follows the arrest of a man and a woman on April 4. The pair, a 24-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman, both from Birmingham, are currently on police bail.
"There was no risk to any passengers at Manchester Airport or to the wider public in relation to these arrests," the West Midlands Police said in a statement.
Police noted that these arrests and this investigation were not connected to the terrorism arrests of five people from Birmingham on Thursday and Friday.
Four people, including three men aged 26, 40 and 59 respectively and a 29-year-old woman, were arrested in Birmingham on Thursday night. Another 26-year-old man, also from Birmingham, was arrested at Gatwick Airport in the early hours of Friday, police said.
