Sudanese Minister of Water Resources , Irrigation and Electricity Moataz Moussa has asserted Sudan is committed to cooperating with Egypt and Ethiopia to actively apply technical studies of Renaissance Dam in order to achieve the interests of the three countries.
Sudan, Egypt and Ethiopia will reach a further understanding in the coming phase, Moussa said, adding these studies will promote joint action and thought.
During a ceremony held in Khartoum on Tuesday to sign the technical contracts for the Ethiopian Renaissance Dam, Moussa said the three nations have overcome all challenges and share now a feeling of solidarity while acting to carry out joint projects.
The inking of the contracts is an example that differences can lead to cooperation, he said, adding the move heralds a new phase of cooperation among three countries to complete the studies.
