
Russian Consul-General in Alexandria Rashid Sadikov asserted that Egyptian-Russian ties noticeably developed within the past few years.
In exclusive statements to MENA, Sadikov added that the coming period would also witness a progress in aspects of cooperation in the different domains whether at the commercial, military or industrial levels.
Sadikov's remarks came on the sidelines of ceremony marking Russia's National Day.
A number of projects will be established during the coming period topped by Dabaa nuclear station, he said, adding that an Egyptian delegation under electricity minister visited Moscow to coordinate with a major Russian company to establish the station.
The volume of Egyptian fruits and veggies' exports to Russia has increased, he noted.
