Anne Hathaway in clunky Ugly Betty glasses

She\'s a versatile actress and it appears that Anne Hathaway may be a bit of a fashion chameleon as well. The stunning starlet stepped out in New York City looking more geek than chic in a pair of thick spectacles. Her glasses totally transformed her look, given that just two days ago she was the very picture of elegance in a stunning pencil-skirted Erdem frock. In fact, she bore a striking resemblance to another bespectacled star, Ugly Betty. The 28-year- star has worn the monster specs several times over the past few days as if she\'s trying to hide her beauty.  She looked pensive as she strode through the city\'s Soho neighbourhood in a long black and white coat. Slim-fitting pants and black boots completed her look. The actress, who will play Catwoman in the next Batman instalment, The Dark Knight Rises, often looks low-key when she\'s not on the red carpet.
