Jordanian Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Expatriates Aymen Al-Safadi today received Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Abul Gheit. Jordanian News Agency (Petra) said that the two sides discussed latest Arab developments and efforts to settle political crises and address their pitfalls to maintain security and stability and protect pan-Arab security.
They reviewed ongoing efforts to relaunch peaceful efforts to settle the Palestinian-Israeli conflict on the basis of two-state solution, the international resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative. Latest developments in Syria, Yemen and Libya and the war on terrorism were also discussed.
