ERC sends relief caravans to people of Shabwa

The Emirates Red Crescent, ERC, has sent two food aid caravans to Azzan of Mayfa'a District in the Governorate of Shabwa, to be distributed to the local people, as part of its humanitarian campaign to support the people of Yemen.
The local residents expressed their happiness about the food aid and praised the efforts of the UAE and its humanitarian arm in Yemen, the ERC.
Mohammed Saif Al Muhairi, Head of the ERC team, stated that the ERC will continue distributing food aid to the citizens of the governorate, based on the UAE’s desire to help the citizens of Shabwa Governorate, to meet its needs for supplies of food.
Abdullah Ateeq Baoudha, Director-General of Mifah Directorate, thanked the ERC and its team in the governorate for their significant efforts to reach out to vulnerable people in all the local regions. He also praised the role of the UAE and its efforts to provide humanitarian, development and security assistance.
