Morocco, Spain arrest 4 suspects for recruiting fighters for IS group

Moroccan and Spanish security services arrested four people suspected of recruiting and sending fighters to the Islamic State (IS)
group, the Moroccan Interior Ministry said Tuesday.
In a joint operation, three suspects were arrested in the Spanish cities of Madrid and Girona, and another in the northern Moroccan city of Tangier, the ministry said in a statement.
Morocco and Spain have close security coordination, especially in counter-terrorism, as they have jointly busted several terror networks active in both countries.
The arrestees are also suspected of glorifying IS terror attacks and inciting such attacks outside IS-controlled territories, the statement added.
The person arrested in Morocco will be brought before court after the public prosecutor's office completes its investigation.
