
The Sharjah Public Works Department has handed over the Diba Al Hisn Model Nursery to the Sharjah Education Council.
The Department said the fully-serviced and equipped childcare facility is part of phase one of a project ordered by H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. He has called for establishing 66 nurseries as part of plans to upgrade the learning process in the emirate.
The AED9 million-nursery will accommodate 88 children and include eight classes for activities, indoor and outdoor playing halls, a food court, administrative offices and other service facilities.
