Qatari labour minister: Egyptian workers 'efficient at work'

The Egyptian Manpower Ministry said Qatari Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs Minister Issa bin Saad al Juffali al Naimi voiced his appreciation of the Egyptian workers in Qatar, saying they are efficient at work.

In a statement on Thursday, the ministry said that the Qatari minister's statements came at a meeting between the minister and Egypt's charge d' affaires in Doha Ihab Abdel Hamid.

During the meeting, Abdel-Hamid handed over a message from Egyptian Manpower Minister Mohamed Saafan to the Qatari minister on means of boosting bilateral cooperation in the labour domain, the statement said.

Upon a request from the Egyptian manpower minister, the Qatari minister also promised to solve Egyptian workers' problems, the statement added.
