Traffic at Suez Canal normal after ship accident

The traffic at the Suez Canal waterway is going on normally despite the accident of Panamanian ship New Katerina, head of the Suez Canal Authority Mohab Mamish said on Monday.
A total of 209 ships have transited the Suez Canal carrying 13.3 million tons since Thursday, Mamish added in a statement.
The Panamanian ship, which was coming from Russia and heading to China, went off course Thursday in the 63rd km of the canal’s Western branch.
The ship was carrying a cargo of iron dust.
