Union of Sinai Tribes meets for first time

The Union of Sinai Tribes held its first meeting on Sunday with the participation of leading tribesmen.
The meeting came after Sinai tribes became more involved in combating terrorists.
A statement that was issued after the meeting said tribe youths will form two groups for pressing ahead with confronting terrorists.
The first group will be tasked with collecting information about terrorists' whereabouts.
The second group will comprise of volunteers who will take part with troops in military operations in Sinai.
They will help troops in identifying the targets, the statement said.
