Yemeni President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi met on Monday with G10 ambassadors sponsoring the Gulf initiative and briefed them on the latest developments in Yemen.
During the meeting, Hadi said the situation in general is extremely critical and dangerous.
He hoped that the agreement signed on Sunday by all Yemeni political powers including Ansar Allah, the military wing of the Shiite Houthis Movement, will be implemented on the ground.
Meanwhile, Hadi also hailed United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and UN envoy to Yemen Jamal Benomar’s efforts in helping to solve the Yemeni political crisis.
Hadi entrusted the ambassadors to convey the picture on the latest developments in the country to their countries' leaders, praising their support to Yemen in different circumstances.
The ambassadors reaffirmed their countries' full support to Yemen and to the efforts of President Hadi with the aim to preserve Yemen's security, stability and unity.
