Israeli forces on Thursday arrested a Palestinian patient who is a resident of Gaza Strip while trying to head to West Bank for medical treatment via Erez Crossing in northern Gaza Strip, Palestinian sources said.
Earlier, the Palestinian patient received a security permit to enter the West Bank but the Israeli forces arrested him and moved him to an unknown location.
The Israeli forces are exercising organized violations and are misusing the crossing to arrest and ban Palestinian patients from reaching the hospitals for medical treatment, Palestinian reports said.
Israeli forces had arrested four Palestinian patients and a person accompanying a patient at Erez Crossing since the beginning of this year.
