Casablanca - Mohamed Khaled

FUS Rabat midfielder Othman Fadis and Olympic football team, revealed that his national team's coronation of the gold medal in the eighth edition of the Francophone Games, which ended in the Ivorian capital, on Sunday, was due, expressing his great pleasure for this important achievement.

Fadis stressed for Muslimchronicle that the secret behind the success of the Olympians in achieving the Francophone title lies in the collective spirit and the desire to shine in all the elements of the group, pointing out that all the players and coaching staff, were determined to win the gold medal, after reaching the final scene.

Fadis, who was one of the most prominent players in the national team, praised the efforts made by all the players in the final match against the host country, admitting that the victory was not easy.

He explained that the coaching staff, led by Dutch coach Mark Voet, had played an important role in reaching this positive result. He added that the discipline imposed by the coach was a key factor in achieving maximum physical readiness, despite the short interval between each game.

On the other hand, Fadis expressed his happiness that his team reached the semi-finals of the Arab Club Champions Cup, currently held in Egypt, hoping to defeat the Tunisian team this night.
