Two people were wounded in a shooting incident on Tuesday night in Helsinki, capital of Finland, local media reported on Wednesday.
Helsinki Police Department said the police received a notification at midnight that a shooting took place in the adjacent area of a shopping center in northern Helsinki.
The police found two injured persons when they arrived at the scene. The victims were transported to hospital. There has been no information about how seriously they were injured.
During the night the police carried out an investigation at the scene and interrogated several people that were on the spot. But the police did not disclose any information about the shooter.
