Algerian Army Discovers Five Bunkers for Terrorists Containing Weapons, Explosives

Five bunkers for terrorists containing weapons, a quantity of ammunitions, explosives and detonation means have been discovered Tuesday by a detachment of the People's National Army (ANP) in the province of Skikda, the Algerian National Defence Ministry said in a communique Wednesday .
"As part of counterterrorism, thanks to the exploitation of information and following a search and combing operation conducted in the area of Oued Dekhil, an Army detachment discovered yesterday five bunkers for terrorists containing 1 RPG2 rocket launcher, 3 shells for rocket launchers, 5 homemade mines, 5 homemade bombs and a quantity of ammunition, explosives and detonation means," the source was quoted by Algerian Press Services (APS) as saying.
Besides and as part of border security and the fight against smuggling and organized crime, detachments of the Army, the National Gendarmerie and Border Guards intercepted "56 illegal immigrants of various nationalities", the APS said.
Besides, units of the National Gendarmerie thwarted in Annaba "an illegal immigration attempt by 14 persons and seized by a homemade craft", it added.
