
A Turkish policeman was killed in a bomb attack carried out by the PKK organization in Turkey's southeastern Mardin province Sunday, security sources said.
According to the sources, the policeman got seriously injured during an counter-terrorism operation in Nusaybin districts Dicle neighborhood and later succumbed to his wounds at a hospital, the sources added.
Army and security forces launched on March 14 joint operations against PKK militants in Sirnak Province, in order to preserve the citizens' lives and property.
