The US-led alliance carried out 26 air sorties against Daesh terrorist group in Syria and Iraq.
The US-led alliance carried out four air sorties in Syria and 22 air sorties in Iraq, according to a statement issued by the Joint Task Force on Sunday.
The US-led alliance started bombing Daesh targets in Syria in September as part of a strategy aimed at rolling back the group’s territorial gains in Syria and Iraq.
Clashes between Iraqi forces and the militant group have also been ongoing since June 2014 when the armed group seized Mosul and other territories in Iraq.
