Yanni's concerts to promote for Egyptian tourism, culture

Culture Minister Helmi Namnam welcomed iconic Greek-US composer, pianist and music producer Yanni on his first visit to Egypt, underlining the importance of the event in promoting for Egyptian tourism and culture.

The minister said there is cooperation between the ministries of culture, tourism and antiquities to offer all needed facilities to serve this end.

The head of Namnam's office Hassan Khallaf said Yanni's two concerts at the Great Pyramids of Giza on Friday and Saturday send a positive message to the world.

Tourism Minister Hisham Za'zou welcomed Yanni upon arrival from New York on Monday. (MENA)
